Bu çalışmada, sarıçam (Pinus sylvestris L.) ve kayın (Fagus orientalis L.) odununun ekstrakte edilmiş örneklerine asit klorit delignifikasyonu farklı sürelerde uygulanmış ve elde edilen holoselülozlardaki kalıntı lignin miktarı ile renk değerleri arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Renk değerlerinin sınıflandırılmasında CIE lab standardı kullanılmıştır. CIE lab standardına göre üç ayrı renk değeri L* (parlaklık/koyuluk), a* [kırmızılık (+)/yeşillik (-)] ve b* [sarılık (+)/mavilik (-)] olarak tanımlanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, örneklerdeki lignin miktarları ile renk değerleri (L*, a* ve b*) arasındaki ilişkinin sarıçamda korelasyon R2=0.994, kayında ise R2=0.953 düzeyinde olduğunu göstermiştir. In this study, extracted wood samples from scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) and beech (Fagus orientalis L.) have been delignified with acid chlorite process using different time intervals. Relationship between color response and residual lignin amount in holocellulose samples has been investigated. Color change was classified using CIE lab standard. According to CIE lab standard; color can be described in terms of its L* (lightness/darkness) component and two chromatic components, a* [redness (+)/greeness (-)] and b* [yellowness (+)/blueness (-)]. The results indicate that, the correlation coefficient ( R2) between the lignin amount in samples and color components (L*, a* and b*) for scots pine and beech is 0.994 and 0.953 respectively.Keywords: Lignin, Holocellulose, Color |
