Emine creek watershed (12 127.1 ha) have been the subject of watershed melioration studies since 1990. Pasture rehabilitation, soil conservation and afforestation works were carried out within these applications. In this study, the achievement of watershed melioration studies carried out between the years 1990 - 2014 and changes in the land use type/land cover (LUT/LC) in the watershed were assessed. Field measurements, remote sensing (RS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) techniques were used for determining LUT/LC changes. It has determined that since the beginning of watershed melioration works, the productive forest areas have increased by 22.5 %, degraded forests by 9 %, settlements areas by 4.4 %. On the other hand, opening areas have decreased by 31.8 % and cultivated areas by 3.4 %. According to the results of this study, forest areas were determined to increase by 40 %.Emine Deresi ve yan dere havzaları (12 127,1 ha) 1990 yılından itibaren havza ıslah çalışmalarına konu olmuştur. Uygulamalar kapsamında mera ıslahı, toprak koruma ve ağaçlandırma çalışmaları yürütülmüştür. Bu araştırmada, 1990 - 2014 yılları arası yürütülen havza ıslah çalışmaları sonucu, Arazi Kullanım Türü/Arazi Örtüsünde (AKT / AÖ) ortaya çıkan değişim ve yürütülen çalışmaların başarı durumu değerlendirilmiştir. AKT / AÖ değişiminin belirlenmesinde Uzaktan Algılama (UA) ve Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemleri (CBS) teknikleri ve yersel ölçümler kullanılmıştır. Havza ıslah çalışmalarına başlanmasından bu yana verimli orman alanlarında % 22.5, bozuk orman alanlarında % 9 ve yerleşim alanlarında % 4.4 artış olduğu belirlenmiştir. Havza içerisinde orman toprağı alanlarında % 31.8 ve tarım alanlarında % 3.4 azalış olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre havza içerisinde ormanlık alanlarda toplam % 40.9 (4960.0 ha) bir artış olduğu belirlenmiştir.
